BJJSquare.

The context
BJJSquare is the digital home of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and grappling: a free platform for the community, conceived and built from scratch inside Drop Promotion. Not a theme adapted, not a plugin configured — a real product, live at bjjsquare.com.
The problem
The BJJ world was fragmented: gyms hard to find, no shared profile for practitioners, events scattered across a dozen channels. And for the studio there was a second challenge: proving — to ourselves before our clients — that we can design, build and launch a complete digital product. Interface, logic, data, brand.
What we did
- The world map of gyms, filterable by style, programmes and location
- The practitioner’s digital profile: belt, stripes, affiliation, with a shareable BJJSquare Card
- A free profile for gyms: photos, programmes, instructors
- Check-in and attendance, with badges and training statistics
- Event management: open mats, competitions, seminars and camps
- Over 60 verified guides on technique, history and preparation
- Full brand identity for the product
The result
2,700+ gyms mapped across 90 countries. A living product, and concrete proof of what we mean by “custom built”: the same architecture can become another client’s tool.
"The client's own words go here — a real quote, gathered for the purpose."
Who is behind this: Drop Promotion is the web, graphic and multimedia studio in Lissone, just north of Milan, that pairs advanced tools with a real relationship with the people it works for.
