Technical cookies
The site only uses what it needs to work, and installs no cookies to track you. Your banner choice is stored in your browser (local storage, nothing sent to third parties) so we do not ask again on every visit: it lasts 6 months, whether you accepted or declined. If in future we enable anti-spam protection on the forms (Cloudflare Turnstile), it may use a technical cookie for the sole purpose of telling people apart from bots.
Cookie-free analytics
To understand how many people visit the site we use Vercel's aggregated statistics: they use no cookies, do not identify people and do not follow you around elsewhere. That is why they need no consent. With the same tool we count, in aggregate, how many people click WhatsApp or the phone number: a number, not who you are.
Google Ads: measuring our ads, only if you accept
We run ads on Google to be found by businesses in our area. To know whether they work — whether someone who clicks an ad then actually writes to us — we use the Google Ads conversion tag, which sets Google cookies (including _gcl_au, 90 days). It only matters for people arriving from an ad who then take an action: message us on WhatsApp, call, send a form or request the scanner.
What we do not do: no remarketing (we do not "follow" you with ads after your visit), no personalised advertising, no audience lists. Ad personalisation is switched off in the banner and in the tag configuration (Consent Mode v2: ad_personalization denied).
Google's tag loads only after you click "Accept": if you choose "Necessary only" or dismiss the banner, no Google script is loaded and no Google cookie is set. Google LLC processes this data as an independent controller under its privacy policy, with Data Privacy Framework safeguards for transfers to the United States.
You can change your mind at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, cookies already set by Google can be deleted from your browser settings.
Google Maps, only if you ask for it
On the contact page the map does not load by itself: you see the address and a button. Only if you click "Load the map" is Google's service loaded, which may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy. Alternatively, there is a link to open the map directly in Google Maps.
The WhatsApp buttons open a chat with our number, with a pre-written message you can edit or delete before sending. Until you send, nothing reaches us. The conversation is then governed by WhatsApp's privacy policy.
If anything changes
If we introduce other tools that use non-technical cookies, the banner and this page will be updated beforehand.
